Here are some unusual rider list requests that hotel managers around the world have had to accommodate:
1. Justin Bieber is known to request having 10 expensive sedan limousines and a jet plane on standby on his rider list.
2. Christina Aguilera often requests a police escort to the venue to ensure that traffic congestion does not delay her performances.
3. After she and Justin Bieber ended their relationship, Selena Gomez banished the name “Justin” from her life for a while. That also meant that the tour crew members and hotel employees named Justin had to adopt other names while working with her.
4. Rihanna’s rider list features curtains prominently. Window curtains have to be either black or blue, while white curtains have to cover all visible bricks and lockers.
5. When Justin Timberlake is in a hotel, he needs to have an entire floor to himself, as well as his own elevator. Additionally, all the doorknobs in the hotel and the venue have to be disinfected every two hours.
